NVIDIA has revealed that the GeForce RTX 5060 (non-Ti) graphics card will be released on May 19, 2025. This launch will include availability of graphics cards from NVIDIA's board partners, as well as pre-built desktops featuring the RTX 5060. While the RTX 5060 was initially announced alongside the RTX 5060 Ti in April, its availability was delayed until mid-May. The launch of the RTX 5060 may be overshadowed by the start of the 2025 Computex Taipei on May 20, with press coverage expected to begin by May 16.
NVIDIA has also provided details on the specifications of the GeForce RTX 5060. The card is based on the same GB206 silicon as the RTX 5060 Ti, but with 30 streaming multiprocessors (SM) out of the 36 available on the silicon. This results in 3,840 CUDA cores, 120 Tensor cores, 30 RT cores, 120 TMUs, and 48 ROPs. The GPU has a maximum boost clock of 2.50 GHz. The RTX 5060 will only have an 8 GB memory option, with no 16 GB option available. The 8 GB of GDDR7 memory operates on a 128-bit wide memory interface, although the memory speed was not specified. NVIDIA has set the TGP of the RTX 5060 at 145 W, a decrease from the 180 W of the RTX 5060 Ti. This means that most partner cards will likely require a single 8-pin PCIe power connector, and some may even come with a 6-pin connector.
